HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO FIND MY GOWN?

You may need to book sooner than you think! Some of our designers take up to 6 months for the gown to be made to order. And alterations can take up to 8-12 weeks.

Some designers can send dresses within 4 months, get in touch with any questions bridey! Please bare in mind, this will limit your choices in wedding dresses available.
A bridal rule of thumb is leave 9-12 months in advance of your big day to find your gown, give your self the gift of time.

We know, it sounds like a long time – but honestly, it will fly by!

Plus, your seamstress will LOVE you for having time on your side… More time = less stress!

WHAT ARE THE PRICE RANGES AT 130 ATELIER?

At 130 Atelier, we have gowns that range from £1200 to £3500.

Our average price point sits under £2000.
There are a few separates on our rails that start at £990.

Our extensive ByWatters Collection is under £1000 and can be available in 8-12 weeks!
We know how important it is to stick to your budget, we don’t do pressure sales at 130 - we do encourage you to get in touch with any questions.

Side note…

Some of our designers have certain dresses in certain sizes available to ship to 130 Atelier for you.

This is ideal if you have a quicker turnaround.

 

But, as you can imagine this has the potential to limit your choice, so sorting your dress out at that 9 month sweet spot is our preferred option for you!

HOW LONG IS AN APPOINTMENT AT 130 ATELIER?

Via our appointment only service, we want to keep it fair to all the 130 Atelier brides appointments run at 1 hour 30 minutes. We have our LUXE VIP appointments available that last 2 hours.

1.5 hours gives you enough time to try on options and find the gown for your wedding day!

If you do want to spend more time looking for your gown we are happy to book you a follow up appointment.

Please get in touch for enquiries about booking an out of hours appointment.

Some underwear / shapewear that you plan to wear for the big day! We have found high waist shorts are best, sizing up prevents lines! We have some suggestions, so get in touch!

Bring your glammed up gorgeous self

Shoes! When you say yes, the hem measurement is majorly important to get right! If you haven't found THE shoe, just bring a pair of shoes with the correct heel height you are aiming for. We do have some shoes available to borrow if your forget yours!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

DO YOU SELL BRIDESMAIDS, FLOWER GIRLS AND MOTHER OF THE BRIDES OUTFITS?

We have expanded into Watters Maids + TH&TH bridesmaids. These dresses are fabulous and bound to compliment your wedding dress! Our bridey’s Mum’s have even fallen in love with them for their outfit!

Our sample sizes run from 10-20, prices are between £199-£300.

ARE ALTERATIONS INCLUDED AT 130 ATELIER?

At the moment we do not have the space to facilitate bridal alterations. We do have 4 recommendations that we can suggest during your appointment, you are in safe hands with our contacts who have over 25 years or bridal tailoring under their belt.

We plan to expand in the future and provide more services, watch this space!

WHAT SIZES DO YOU STOCK?

Our samples range from size 8 to size 24 and we are growing our size range this summer.
We truly love all sizes at 130 Atelier and want to encourage brides of all shapes and sizes to book an appointment with us.

Bridal gowns are known for running small so, we have lots of tricks to give you an idea of how your wedding dress will look and fit to your body.
We have chosen our designers and gowns with all sizes in mind.
Our main goal is to make you feel the confident badass fabulous woman you are. We promise x

HOW DO I STORE MY WEDDING DRESS?

You have got your wedding dress… Eek! We definitely recommend that you keep your gorgeous gown in the 130 Atelier garment bag. Ideally this will be in a dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from prying eyes! Some brides resort to storing their gowns at a loved ones house until it’s time for alterations and then the day you say “I do!”

The garment bag we provide for you is made of breathable fabric so it is perfect for storing your gown in!

We do also have some very pretty storage boxes. So get in touch today today if you would like us to pack your gown so it is safe and snug in it’s forever home.

WHO SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Two supportive adults - we know it is difficult to choose BUT remember you can change who your bring to your second appointment and even your alteration fittings!

Bringing 2 guests, just think of all the room you will have to practise your dance moves and twirl around in your gown. Embrace the space that 130 Atelier can gift to you with less entourage. Bring the 2 people whose opinions truly matter!

CAN I WEAR FAKE TAN?

At 130 Atelier we would encourage you to not wear fake tan to your appointment.
Our dresses don't like it so we would appreciate you going tan free for your first appointment.

DO YOU DO WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS?

​130 Atelier is a small business run by one person, so hours may change at short notice. So for the time being I am open by appointment only.

Walk in appointments time slots will be advertised on social media, if not already prearranged.

Please contact me before visiting to confirm if 130 Atelier is open to avoid missing me!

Monday 10am - 8pm

Thursday 10am - 8pm

Friday: 10am - 6pm

Saturday: 10am - 6pm

Sunday: 10am - 4pm (Selected Dates only)

Please note these are a guide as to which appointments are available.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

The majority of my brides pay in full, this means there is one thing to worry about (and it’s really satisfying ticking your dress purchase off your excel spreadsheet!)

Alternatively, we can organise a “payment plan” where you are expected to pay 50% of your invoice total in order to process at your appointment. The remaining balance paid at later date before your dress / items are shipped for your collection appointment.
