Choosing the right wedding vendors is crucial for ensuring your big day runs smoothly and meets your expectations.

At 130 Atelier, we want to help you as much as possible, so here are some steps to help you choose the best vendors for your wedding:

1. Determine Your Budget: Before you start looking for vendors, decide on a budget for each category. This will help you narrow down your options and ensure you don’t overspend.

2. Research Research Research: Check online reviews on websites like Google, Yelp, and WeddingWire to see what previous clients are saying about the vendors.

3. Social Media: Browse through the vendors' social media profiles to see photos of their work.

The High Street may be a bit non-existent at the moment, social media is the new shop window!

4. Recommendations: Ask friends, family, or recently married couples for recommendations.

There may be discounts that can be applied from a couples recommendation - always mention your pals to your vendor!

5. Meet the Vendors: Interviews: Schedule meetings or phone calls with potential vendors to discuss your vision, ask questions, and get a feel for their personality.

6. Portfolio: Ask to see their portfolio or examples of their work to ensure their style aligns with your vision.

7. Check Availability: Make sure the vendors are available on your wedding date.

8. Ask About Packages and Pricing: Inquire about their packages, what’s included, and pricing details. Make sure there are no hidden costs. Here at 130 Atelier we honour your budget and won’t push you into buying anything - like most wedding vendors!

*But please don’t ghost your vendors, reply either way you decide to go - pretty please*

9. Read Contracts Carefully: Before signing any contracts, carefully read through them to ensure you understand all terms and conditions.

10. Consider Personality and Communication: It’s important to choose vendors who you get along with and who communicate well. You’ll be working closely with them leading up to and on your wedding day.

Bear in mind that most businesses are run by 1 person, maybe a small group, so be patient with their response time. The majority of vendors reply within 1-3 days x

11. Check References: Ask for references from past clients and contact them to get feedback on their experience with the vendor.

12. Trust Your Instincts: If something doesn’t feel right or if you’re not completely comfortable with a vendor, it’s okay to keep looking.

13. Book Early: Once you’ve found the right vendors, don’t wait too long to book them, especially if your wedding date is during peak season.

Remember bridey, each wedding vendor plays a crucial role in making your wedding day memorable, so take your time to research and choose the ones that best fit your vision and budget.

Time is your ally! Girl Math… Early planning = less stress!
